Amsterdam Dance Event represents the latest developments, reflects and evaluates them on the various panels and discussions and what is most important, through the alliances and coalitions that are shaped during the intense networking these five days, ADE has a decisive impact and huge influence on the future of Electronic Music Industry and Electronic Music Culture as a whole. ADE has developed from being at the beginning just an industry meeting to become an actual symbol of the growing importance and huge impact of Electronic Music in the recording industry business and the youth culture as a whole. The attendance at ADE itself or the sold out festivals like Tomorrowland or Mysteryland or Sensation all over the world prove that the Electronic Music industry is one of the most vital and quickly growing sectors which will shape the younger generation perceptions, attitudes and music tastes. If some years ago Electronic Music was a subculture in the periphery of the system, now it has become the mainstream without the negative connotations from the past. These considerable changes were reported by more than 400 journalists from around the world who have attended this year's event.
