Interview with Saul van Stapele & Perre van der Brink for Electronic Music Journalism at ADE 2014

Amsterdam Dance Event represents the latest developments, reflects and evaluates  them on the various panels and discussions and what is most important, through the alliances and coalitions that are shaped during the intense networking these five days, ADE has a decisive impact and huge influence on the future of Electronic Music Industry and Electronic Music Culture as a whole. ADE has developed from being at the beginning just an industry meeting to become an actual symbol of the growing importance and huge impact of Electronic Music in the recording industry business and the youth culture as a whole. The attendance at ADE itself or the sold out festivals like Tomorrowland or Mysteryland or Sensation all over the world prove that the Electronic Music industry is one of the most vital and quickly growing sectors which will shape the younger generation perceptions, attitudes and music tastes. If some years ago Electronic Music was a subculture in the periphery of the system, now it has become the mainstream without the negative connotations from the past. These considerable changes were reported by more than 400 journalists from around the world who have attended this year's event.

Review: Mark Sixma & Kill The Buzz - Rise Up

The Summer season may be over, but Hardwell continues to bring the heat with his Revealed Recordings releases way into the Winter months. Kill The Buzz is undeniably a familiar face on the Revealed roster, with radio smash ‘Life Is Calling’ and huge-hitter ‘Carbon’ continuing to keep him on the radars of those who matter, now, this Breda boy stands alongside Netherlands native Mark Sixma for the unavoidable anthem ‘Rise Up’. A newcomer to the Revealed Recordings family but still certain to make a splash with his workings, Mark Sixma - also hailing from Breda – has remixed the likes of W&W also on the label, with ‘Rise Up’ being his inaugural release. Co-produced with Kill The Buzz and causing a frenzy at his Ministry of Sound set recently, the anthemic, melodic twists and turns of ‘Rise Up’ confirm the release as undeniably Revealed, with both artists still stamping their unique identities across the four minute, high-energy release.
