Best of 2013 Interview: Jacob Van Hage: Hailing from Rotterdam, The Netherlands, comes a Dutchman by the name of Jacob van Hage. With his own sound and style, he wants to send out a clear signal about who he really is and what to expect when listening to his tracks, mixes and live gigs. Through incredible skills and his intense work ethic, Jacob has risen from humble beginnings to become a world wide recognised name. Jacob is one of the most promising crossover DJ/Producers in the scene by bringing together different styles of electronic dance music. He has managed to develop his own unique floor-driven style, and that paved the way for greater triumphs. His original productions and remixes rocked the global dance floors and definitely he is one of the best DJ & producer in 2013.

1) Can you tell us about your achievements in your music career in 2013 as DJ &/or producer?
Jacob:  I released "Thumper" with Oliver Heldens on Spinnin' Records in the beginning of 2013, after that "Crank" on Flashover & This Record with Billy The Kit on Dim Mak. I also remixed Rigby's Earth Meets Water + released Razorbass & Hybrid!
Next to these releases I played Tomorrowland again, New York, China, Full On Ferry Ibiza & did a Caribbean Tour.

2) If you look back on 2013, are there any events in your music career that you wished you had done differently in order to get a better outcome? 
Jacob: No! Everything went well & according to plan!

Jacob: Keep messing around with Synths and plugins!
