First State Releases Third Artist Album 'Full Circle'

First State - Full Circle [Album] In a comparatively short time frame Holland’s Sander van der Waal released his debut album on In Trance We Trance, before changing lanes for the new creative aesthetic of its Magik Muzik follow-up. Now, in 2014, he completes that initial three-album arc with ‘Full Circle’. For this new long-player, the spectrum of Van der Waal’s compound sound becomes ever yet more expansive. Frequency hopping across genre bands - often inside the confines of a single track, it beguiles the audiophile by exploring the EDM route less travelled. The only predictable feature of ‘Full Circle’ is its entire lack of predictability!

Also along for this sonic ride, he’s brought many a standout vocalist, to the album, with performances by international singer-songwriters including Eric Lumiere, Sarah Howells, Relyk, Tyler Sherritt and others.

Review: Julian Calor - Typhoon/Storm

Julian Calor - Typhoon/Storm. Fresh faced Dutch newcomer Julian Calor rejoins the trail for Revealed Recordings with his debut solo EP for the imprint. Entering the spotlight with inaugural offering 'Space Dial' for the Revealed Talent EP last year, his next strike for the label comes in the form of yet another gem from Hardwell's infamous Tomorrowworld set. Joining Hardwell onstage for a European premiere during Revealed's Ade label night, 'Typhoon' lands to epitomize the big melodic progressions we have come to associate with the young breakout. Lost Language announce March release date for 'Exhibition V mixed by Ben Lost

Lost Language announce March release date for 'Exhibition V mixed by Ben Lost. What was once Lost is now found… After an extended timeout, lasting more than a half-decade, Ben Lost has returned to the director’s chair of Lost Language. One of trance & progressive’s most eminent imprints, over its near 15-year label lifetime it has been the springboard for the careers of an axiomatic list of famed producers. To mark his retaking of its A&R reins, and a new waypoint in the label’s history, he’s mixed the fifth episode of its hallowed 'Exhibition' mix-series.

Ben launched the ‘Exhibition’ line during the label’s early millennial era, quickly helming it into a singular position in the mix collections of trance and prog fans alike. Now, almost a decade after he mixed his last one, the prodigal one’s returned to expo the ongoing development of Lost’s musical language. The album features tracks and mixes from array of new talent. In amongst its progressive foothills, trance peaks and Goan inclines are tracks and remixes from Manmachine, Ovnimoon, Superpsychics, Cosmithex and Sonic Entity, as well as more seasoned sound shapers like Guy J, Activa and Neptune Project. Ben has tasked many of them with remixes of the label’s vastly respected back-catalogue, with new directions & tangents lent to tracks by Space Manoeuvres, Miro, Barraka, Accadia and C.M.

Review: Hardwell ft. Matthew Koma - Dare You (The Remixes)

Review: Hardwell ft. Matthew Koma - Dare You (The Remixes). Having sailed into 2014 on fighting form, Revealed Recordings calls on a very special cluster of artists to give Hardwell and Matthew Koma's chart-topping "Dare You" its first run of remix duties. Originally premiered at Revealed Recording's ADE night at Passenger Terminal, the label calls upon a host of accomplished new blood set to keep this vocal anthem in heavy rotation for the New Year. Needing little introduction to the global dance community, Dutch icon Tiesto and young protege twoloud unite with the utmost force to continue their powerful streak of collaborations. North American trio Cash Cash also take the reigns of the powerful vocal anthem, making for a positive run of label debuts for the first installment of remixes. With more still to come over the months ahead, "Dare You" looks unlikely to drop of the industry radar anytime soon.
