Review: Julian Calor - Typhoon/Storm

Julian Calor - Typhoon/Storm. Fresh faced Dutch newcomer Julian Calor rejoins the trail for Revealed Recordings with his debut solo EP for the imprint. Entering the spotlight with inaugural offering 'Space Dial' for the Revealed Talent EP last year, his next strike for the label comes in the form of yet another gem from Hardwell's infamous Tomorrowworld set. Joining Hardwell onstage for a European premiere during Revealed's Ade label night, 'Typhoon' lands to epitomize the big melodic progressions we have come to associate with the young breakout. Accompanied by melodic anthem 'Storm,' the package shows Julian Calor as an increasingly promising young addition to the promising roster of new talent emerging from Revealed for 2014.

Dimitri Kechagias review: Hardwell is not only responsible for delivering only anthems and great sounds but also for discovering and bringing to the forefront local and international talents. The brand new name that soon will become a household one is Julian Calor with his double tracker Typhoon and Storm. First of all Typhoon is the epic melodic progressive house you were asking for if you play the more euphoric house friendly sound. Energetic and pumping, groovy and exciting will keep the proceedings right and exact without even moment of stopping the heavy sweating dance on the floor. The breakdown reveals the cool violin melody that adds that classical music touch and eclectic taste. Of course the drop transforms the track into an uncontrollable monster that you know that when you play it there is no easy return to reality. Storm is the harder crankier banging booming rough and exciting track with cool funky playful slightly distorted rave style synthy lead that has the word party all night long written in it. Packed with stop and goes effects, interesting twists and turns is the kind of track that never stop to interest you and its 100% impossible to get bored with it. If you like the challenges and search for real fresh and exciting talents stop by Revealed recordings. Love It!
