Review: Miami Sampler 2014

Review: Miami Sampler 2014. When Miami comes calling, you can be sure that Hardwell and his Revealed Recordings imprint have a few tricks up their sleeves. Sure enough, the label celebrates its ever-expanding talent pool this month with six tracks from the artists taking things forward in 2014, priming the road to Miami with an essential soundtrack of new material. Dynamic Brazilian newcomers Ftampa and Bruno Barudi bring their signature electro stylings with “Falcon,” leaving national peer Paniek to lead with his melodic progressive aptitude for “Spark It Up.” It’s Blackwhited & Tybo’s “Avalanche” that give the EP its first aptly titled festival banger, with Flatdisk following suit with his own epically tailored big room cut “Atlantis.” Karim Mika balances both sides of the genre coin with “Oh Shit,” leaving Naffz & Nick Mathon to take MAKJ and Hardwell’s “Coutndown” on an immaculate journey into the sound of modern trap music. As dynamic and diverse the industry has come to expect from the unstoppable imprint, Revealed Recordings is taking no prisoners with its fleet of new talent enroute to the summer clubbing season.

Review: Sevyn Streeter feat. Chris Brown - It Won't Stop [Julian Calor Remix]

Check out the Julian Calor Remix of "Sevyn Streeter feat. Chris Brown - It Won't Stop"

About Julian Calor:
Signing his debut release to Hardwell’s Revealed Recordings and having since found supporters in Tiesto, Nicky Romero, Don Diablo, Dada Life, Diplo, Martin Garrix to name but a few, the exceptional talents of Julian Calor seem to be flourishing well above his years.

Yet not just a growing favourite amongst the dance music elite, Julian’s most has also begun infiltrating the download charts and radio airwaves. His new EP ‘Typhoon/Storm’, which first aired in Hardwell’s incendiary TomorrowWorld set and became one of the highlights of the 2 hour show, claimed the #1 spot in the Buzzchart in its opening week and later received playlist support by dance music don Pete Tong on his legendary BBC Radio 1 show, before breaking into the overall Beatport Top10 chart. More support from Radio 1 came in the shape of his remix of Major Lazer’s ‘Watch Out For This’ which received heavy rotation on the network. But fresh faced at only 20, the Dutch native already has 7 years experience making beats in the studio. Something which looks set to stand him in good stead in the years to come..

Review: Dash Berlin - Dragonfly

Dash Berlin - Dragonfly. Having focussed on their younger talent pool for the majority of 2014 so far, Revealed Recordings calls upon Dash Berlin to make his debut mark for the label alongside Carita La Nina this month. Given a test run by Dash Berlin at EDC Las Vegas and premiered by Hardwell during his Hardwell on Air 150 show, the inauguration of the globe-trotting trance heavyweight was never going to be an outspoken affair. A big room bombshell laced with the uplifting hallmarks that Dash Berlin has perfected throughout his own career, “Dragonfly” marks an exciting clash of musical cultures primed to dominate the digital market and international dance floors alike. Dash Berlin has teamed up with Carita La Nina, one of the Netherlands’ most popular female DJs. With her upbeat personality and superb skills for mixing several styles in her so called 'Love & Destruction sound', she's a woman that easily survives in the male dominated dance industry. For this essential pre-Miami bombshell, Revealed shows itself as a haven for talents both new and established, making for an exciting twist enroute to the global festival season.
