Review: Miami Sampler 2014

Review: Miami Sampler 2014. When Miami comes calling, you can be sure that Hardwell and his Revealed Recordings imprint have a few tricks up their sleeves. Sure enough, the label celebrates its ever-expanding talent pool this month with six tracks from the artists taking things forward in 2014, priming the road to Miami with an essential soundtrack of new material. Dynamic Brazilian newcomers Ftampa and Bruno Barudi bring their signature electro stylings with “Falcon,” leaving national peer Paniek to lead with his melodic progressive aptitude for “Spark It Up.” It’s Blackwhited & Tybo’s “Avalanche” that give the EP its first aptly titled festival banger, with Flatdisk following suit with his own epically tailored big room cut “Atlantis.” Karim Mika balances both sides of the genre coin with “Oh Shit,” leaving Naffz & Nick Mathon to take MAKJ and Hardwell’s “Coutndown” on an immaculate journey into the sound of modern trap music. As dynamic and diverse the industry has come to expect from the unstoppable imprint, Revealed Recordings is taking no prisoners with its fleet of new talent enroute to the summer clubbing season.

Dimitri Kechagias review:
Revealed recordings is the homebase of the number one DJ in the world; Hardwell from Breda The Netherlands, and is of course going to be at the Miami Winter Music Conference. It's time to reveal six mega-bangers that are included on Revealed recordings Miami Sampler 2014. FTampa, Bruno Barudi combine their forces for the powerforce track Falcon. Massive club smasher with wobbly wild bassline that hurts, tough in your stomach drums, and euphoric synths to make you feel like flying high in the sky! Its one of those tunes that you press play and let the madness begin! Paniek comes with his house rocker Spark It Up. Solid to the bone and absolutely energetic we deal here with an electro crasher that will boom and burn. Fantastic piano chords in the breakdown and full-on euphoria in the climax in true Swedish epic prog house style. Blackwhited & Tybo combine their talents for Avalanche. It's tailor made for big rooms and festivals that like it super hard and nasty with powerful drop which includes the amazing pumping dirty dutch influenced synthy, which will drive you mad with joy, thats for sure. The breakdown is atmospheric with Hollywood blockbuster style epic synths that will make you feel like being part of a historic movie. Flatdisk is represented on this must-have sampler with Atlantis. Superb track with excellent mechanical groove that sounds very different from what we have heard until now. The breakdown is cinematic with melodramatic epic strings and synths to raise the hair on your neck. The drop is headbanging and powerbooming, so better take some percussion cause this track is about to deliver serious damage. Karim Mika is on board for Oh Shit. You can hear in it melodies with AVICII influences, while the drop is explosive with fantastic percussion rhythm and classic urban style vocal samples. It's a mixture of Swedish House with Dirty Dutch and electro house in one unbelievable combination. Last but not least, the beatport number one single Countdown by Hardwell and Makj, is remixed in the finest fashion by the boys from Breda Naffz & Nick Mathon who introduce their own playful synthy melody that has actually Middle East flavours in true Moombahton style. Must Have Sampler for those who will travel to Miami and for those who want to party like being on Miami beaches! Love iT
