No bad thing, at all, especially when you listen to his new album, ‘Thousand Mile Stare’. UK producer Nick Bracegirdle, the mastermind behind Chicane, has come a long way since bursting onto the dance scene 15 years ago. Interview: Allure about the project, the album and more music! Today we are catching up with David, better known as the face behind Allure.

David, thanks for meeting up with me!
There have been many questions about Allure since the release of the “Kiss from the Past" album, about the project, everyone involved. Can you tell us more about Allure?
Sure! Allure is a project in which several musicians are involved. The musical input comes by the hands of Tijs Verwest, Wouter and Sjoerd Janssen (aka Showtek) and myself. And yes, you can call me “the face in the front”, as I will be on DJ duties to spread the Allure sound around the globe. Next to that we work with fantastic vocalists from all over the world. Put love and passion for music in it, and you get Allure!

A State of Trance 550 world tour kicks off! The A State of Trance 550 world tour of Armin van Buuren has officially kicked off today. The 550th episode of his popular A State of Trance radio show will be celebrated with 6 events in 5 different countries throughout the month of March, starting with the first, sold-out ASOT 550 event in London (UK) tonight. At the world-famous Ministry of Sound club, more than 1600 visitors will celebrate this milestone in the Dutch DJ’s career. All of the events will be broadcast live via www.astateoftrance.com. With an average of 25 million listeners to the show each week, the number of people expected to tune into the live broadcast is even higher.
