Tomorrowland 2014 was a phenomenal success. 360.000 visitors from all over the world gathered in Belgium to celebrate not only their common love and affection for electronic dance music but also the 10 years anniversary of this great festival that manage thanks to the insistence and belief of ID&T Belgium to grow and expand into a global event that the whole world turns its head and take a closer look.
Tomorrowland is not only about the finest entertainment anymore. Tomorrowland is a way of looking to the world and perceiving your position in it. It has spiritual identity and inspires people to leave in unity, peace and harmony and stop fights and stupid wars. The festival supports the environment and takes extra care to be Green friendly and keep the natural surrounding of the recreational park De Shorre as clean and as safe as possible cause one part of the success of the festival is that amazing location that is not so easy to find even if you search for years.
Tomorrowland attempted to encourage tolerance to differences and is one of those festivals that welcomes people's with disabilities and the festival goers seems to be very encouraging and helpful to disabled people who don't give up life and they fight for their own right to party. 3 great days to make new friends, forge new human bonds, to experience great food and party with the finest dj sets by djs like Steve Angelo, Hardwell, Alesso, Armin van Buuren, Paul van Dyk, Dave Clarke, Sander van Doorn, Markus Schulz and of course the pioneer and legend Ferry Corsten.

Once again Ferry Corsten had the honour both weekends to deliver to the festival his Full On stage including the coolest and most diverse line up representing trance, progressive house, electro house and of course festival sounds from djs such as Aly & Fila B2B John O'Callaghan, Audien, Adrian Lux, Jacob Van Hage, Jochen Miller, Marco V, Sied van Riel and Sick Individuals. After each dj set Ferry Corsten joins the dj for a fun packed explosive exclusive b2b dj set. Both weekends the Full On stage was absolutely packed with thousands of visitors standing by to dance, jump and singalong together with hands in the air. I'm very glad that Ferry Corsten accepted the challenge to record an interview with me that you can watch it right here.
First of all I asked his opinion about Tomorrowland and how he feels that he is part of this festival once again with his stage especially for the 10 years anniversary two weekends edition. Also he explains the reasons behind Tomorrowland & ID&T Belgium decision to select him to host his stage and he tell us if he is happy with this year's line up of his stage and which back2back dj set was more fun to do. Next we discuss about his New World Punx project with Markus Schulz and he describe his experience of the New World Punx dj set at the mainstage of Tomorrowland at the first weekend that was extremely hot with high temperature and some rain showers as well. He reveals the forthcoming releases for New World Punx that maybe will develop into an album project in the near future. Of course we talk about his current single Festival Crush and forthcoming singles that he admits that will be more radio friendly but with festivals appeal as well.
Next issue Ferry talks about is his record label Flashover recordings and the kind of tracks he decides to sing to release and also he gives his advice to young producers about the kind of tracks they are searching for to pick up and release on his labels. Lastly I asked him about his radio show Corsten's Countdown and he confesses his key to happiness according to the motto of this year's Tomorrowland! Once again Ferry Corsten proves how professional, talkative and gifted artist he is and always with that wonderful friendly smile in his face! Must watch without doubts.
Thanks to Ferry Corsten for his time to record this interview.
