Dimitri: Can you tell us about your achievements in your music career in 2013 as DJ &/or producer?
Ron: It was a quite busy year, we released our first EP and the next single “Sam / Kim” and we are really proud of both. Furthermore we collected many new ideas for new music and concepts for other things... I guess it was a really good start and I'm extremely excited about things to come in 2014 :)
Leeds: As it took a lot of time and work, there have been many barriers, but finally it was the year to launch the project “Ron with Leeds” the best we can. As we just released our latest production “Sam / Kim”, which is a concept single and completely different from our first release “Breakthrough EP”, we achieved the 2 big aims we had in 2013. Now we hope to reach the most possible people who admire trance music like we do.
Dimitri: If you look back on 2013, are there any events in your music career that you wished you had done differently in order to get a better outcome?
Ron: When you use too much time thinking about what you could have done different I'm sure you'll never get finished with it. Sure, there are things that maybe could have worked better in another way but hey – we'll never know, so it's much more important to look forward, be proud of anything we did just the way we did it and work on.
Leeds: Of course there are always a lots of things, that you think about and where you maybe would be, if you/d done them differently. You never walk the perfect way. One of those things were some problems with a guy we charged for mastering (laughing). But that/s how it is.

Leeds: Actually every fan message feels wonderful, because you know, people are interested in what you/re doing...
15) Best holiday destination or best hobby or activity that you spent some time in during 2013
Leeds: As my favorite holiday destination is the Caribbean and my personal way to calm down is to do some skydiving action, for me it/s truly awesome to combine those 2.
16) Best piece of advice you got in relation to your career:
Ron: Just do and take everything you can, also if it seems not really important. Short, easy, true.
17) Best Movie of the year preferably related to EDM or inspired you to compose a track.
Leeds: Olivion, as the soundtrack was composed and produced by M83, who already inspired us for the story to our latest release “Sam / Kim”
Dimitri: 2014 is ahead of us; would you like to tell us your plans for future releases, tracks, albums, collaborations or DJ gigs.
Ron: As so often there are much ideas but I can't tell much about them because they need to get a real shape. And sometimes we don't do the things we plan when another, exciting idea comes up to our minds. So let's see what happens.
Leeds: We had a lot of ideas and inspirations in the past, as a result there/s already a wide spectrum of sounds and productions. Just some work in the studio ahead and we got nice stuff for amazing releases
Dimitri: Thanks very much for taking the time to reply to this interview.
It was necessary to find two singers that were able to represent the illustrated story and the feeling in the songs. So Ron with Leeds asked Johnny Norberg (Cryostate / Shah Music / Vocalist for Enhanced Recordings) for taking the part of “Sam”. He liked the idea and agreed immediately. His rough and strong voice fits perfectly to Sam's feelings. Because of Anni, the singer of “Kim” and a good friend of Ron with Leeds and because of the sound of her voice the song is created as it is: a story which appears positive but nevertheless it is doomed to failure. Finally the resulting breakdown ends consequently in “Everything Breaks”.
“Sam / Kim” is going to be released very soon in all online-stores.
